EnergyRace Members Reduce Their Carbon Footprint By 17%

Congratulations EnergyRacers. You are reducing over 3,000 tons of CO2. That's a 17% carbon footprint reduction per member. While some of us have taken on the big projects like new windows (8%) or solar power (3%), most of us are doing the little things that add up to tons of CO2 reductions:
- Using less hot water (cold water rinse cycles) 31%
Recycling Cans 31%
Letting computers hibernate overnight 31%
Recycling Plastic 30%
Recycling Glass 29%
Recycling Newspaper 28%
Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs 28%
It is great to see the recycling and CFL percentages increasing from our numbers in May 2007.
