About EnergyRace

Our carbon emissions from burning coal, oil and natural gas in our homes and vehicles must be reduced to slow global warming. And, in any case, modern economies must make the transition to clean energy to remain strong and healthy. And does anyone believe that we would have invaded Iraq twice in 10 years if Iraq wasn't sitting on $7 trillion of oil (give or take a trillion)?

So why is this important?

  • The well being of our children and their ability to experience the same climate that our Mothers and Fathers experienced
  • Our long-term economic well-being
  • Our national security

The good news is that we can reduce our personal carbon emissions in relatively easy ways. We don't have to give up automobiles and shiver through the winter or sweat through the summer.

EnergyRace provides clear steps (but not the only steps) on what we can do to make a difference and to help us all see the difference we are making.

How Is the Site Supported

EnergyRace's services are free to anyone willing to sign up. The site will be supported through web advertising. The site is not supported by selling or renting the email addresses of our members. We take your privacy very seriously.

Community Guidelines

EnergyRace is a community that welcomes polite, relevant comment from any community member. We're not interested in a debate on global warming because there are other sites for that and because reduced use of fossil fuels and increased use of clean energy is just plain good for the economy, good for our foreign policy and in an indirect way supports our troops in Iraq.

Our motives and preferred methods may be diverse but carbon emissions reduction is our goal.
